| SYMPTOMS- Weakness, fatigue and a general feeling of malaise; you may be mildly anemic.
- Lips look bluish
- Skin looks pasty or yellow
- Gums, nail beds, eyelid linings or palm creases look pale
- In addition to feeling weak and tired, you are frequently out of breath, faint or dizzy
- A burning tongue may indicate vitamin B12 anemia.
- Pernicious anemia may be accompanied by an unusually slick tongue and you may experience movement or balance problems, tingling in the extremities, confusion, depression or memory loss
- Headaches
- Insomnia
- Decreased appetite
- Poor concentration
- Irregular heartbeat
