| SYMPTOMS
- A burning sensation when urinating; this is the most common sign of a bladder infection, but any pain or difficulty in urination may also indicate the condition.
- Frequent urge to urinate.
- Urine with a strong, foul odor.
- In the elderly: lethargy, incontinence, mental confusion.
- Fever and chills.
- Abdominal pain.
- Blood in the urine.
